Key Accountabilities


  • Lead and execute service sales and business development for MTU applications in the assigned portfolio.
  • Develop and manage internal and external customer relationships to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Expand the business by maintaining existing customer accounts and penetrating new segments and markets.  
  • Plan, monitor, and report on application business performance over the planning horizon, including service sales contribution to Aftermarket Total Solutions (ATS).
  • Provide service, customer, and market intelligence to relevant stakeholders to support business decisions.
  • Responsible for achieving incoming order targets and service revenue goals.
  • Maximize revenue through proactive sales of service offerings, upgrades, parts, and maintenance contracts.
  • Drive development and improvement of the distribution/service network to increase business reach and effectiveness.
  • Prepare, own, and ensure timely submission of quotations, ensuring compliance with company policies and applicable regulations.
  • Implement approved service sales strategies and tactical plans.
  • Actively engage in direct and indirect sales efforts, targeting end-users and government-related customers through appropriate market access strategies.
  • Manage sales via distribution channels to strengthen expertise, market share, and service coverage.
  • Lead key account management for strategic and high-value customers.
  • Support pricing, forecasting, and customer engagement using CRM tools and internal systems.
  • Attend client meetings, trade exhibitions, and industry events to promote MTU service solutions.
  • Undertake any other assignments from the line manager as required.


Qualifications


  • Degree or Diploma in Engineering, Business Administration, Marine, or other related disciplines, or equivalent qualifications.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a marine, industrial, or service sales position. Experience working with government agencies or institutional clients is an advantage.
  • Strong technical understanding of power systems and MTU service offerings.
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in English is required. Ability to communicate in Mandarin is a plus due to engagement with regional customers.
  • Customer-oriented mindset with a proven ability to build strong, lasting relationships.
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced, and evolving environment.
  • Willingness to travel for business as required.
